Alice Kim L.Ac is a licensed acupuncturist and Ashiatsu practitioner in the states of New York and New Jersey. She received her Master’s of Classical Chinese Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) .

Alice was born and raised in South Korea and vividly remember those times when she had to take bitter herbal concoctions every time she was sick. She also took them in between seasonal shifts from Winter to Spring and Summer to Fall. She realized how wonderful these mysterious concoctions were when she became chronically sick while working as a Financial Consultant after college. The long hours and stressful day-to-day have affected her immune system and sanity. She looked for alternative ways to heal her body - from massages, energy work such as Reiki, acupuncture, aromatherapy, Chinese Herbs, yoga, and meditation. It wasn't until traveling in Peru, Alice realized she had a true passion for healing therapies. She dived deep into the world of wellness. Her experiences include working as a massage therapist at the Bliss Spa and as a resident acupuncturist with Canyon Ranch Spa Club at Sea.

Alice's specialty is Acupuncture and Ashiatsu to balance the energetic imbalances we face through living a faced paced "New York" lifestyle. When we put our body and mind to the ultimate test, burning the candle at body ends, we create subtle or more serious imbalances. Sometimes, we are so used to living this way, we completely forget to ask how our spirit is doing. Alice facilitates in bringing in our multifaceted selves back into balance.

As an experienced body worker for almost a decade, Alice specializes in more advanced massage techniques. Her focus is using Ashiatsu, which means in Japanese - pressure point massage with the feet. In traditional Ashiatsu, therapists follow the flow of the yin meridians coming up from the earth and then the yang meridians coming down from the heavens. It brings the patient in to a sublime place, connecting the dots with the greater whole.

Alice is trained in Classical Chinese Medicine under Dr. Jeffrey Yuen's guidance. He is an 88th generation Daoist priest of the Jade Purity School, Lao Tsu sect. Yuen is internationally recognized for his comprehensive knowledge of classical Chinese medicine, acupuncture, herbalism, and qi gong. Her training under Jeffrey Yuen has led her to highly effective treatments for fertility, emotional disharmonies, stress, anxiety, and pain.
